AND there is more....I just completed editing my FIRST tutorial "All by Myself!" Haha.... I feel a little like the Little Red Hen when I say that, except the difference is: I DO want to share it! But be kind, I am just learning, I am a grasshopper and therefor little frightened to share until I increase my skills! But I decided to go for it and get your comments to help me! I am on the road to learn the tips, tricks and techniques of editing film!
Editing may not sound exciting to you, but really it IS exciting! I took a 1 hour and 10 minute project I made on video and created a 14 minute tutorial. yesterday. I have always wanted to learn produce a better quality video on a camera and learn to edit it ""all by myself", to allow me to produce them anytime I want. I love the idea of doing online tutorials through videos because I will be able to share more with you and reach a larger audience.
Most of you are busy bees out there, I know some of your schedules are hectic. So I want to shorten the tutorials, but still have plenty of clear instruction for you.. But, as I said: I am still a grasshopper in this new journey; my next step is to learn how-to control the "time lapse", to slightly speed up tedious steps (like cutting, for instance) to make the videos a little shorter, but still very instructional. So, my goal in 2015 is to learn to film and get better with time! This first one I learned and practiced how-to "clip" the film to shorten it and add text (called "annotations"), so there is no voice on this one. That will come with experimenting.
All this said, I will be pulling back somewhat from teaching in stores to dedicate myself to learning steps to give my business more of an online presence through learning more about how to use my social networking that is available and creating instructional tutorials on how to use TJ Designs products... and I am learning "ONE STEP AT A TIME". I am excited! I plan on regular SHORT blog post to keep you in the loop, so PLEASE sign up for my blog to keep updated on the many creative ideas as I share with you how-to to use TJ Designs' many-themed Collage Packs and Rubber Stamps in different ways!
