So much has happened since my last post...the biggest event was I (AND MY STUDIO) moved across the country over Christmas to Corpus Christi, Texas! All my buds at Carrollwood's Painting with a Twist in Tampa, FL gave me a surprise Going Away Bye-bye Party when I was teaching a class and that met a lot to me! Thanks art sisters!
A New House
Yes, Rick and I bought a beautiful new place we call "home" in Corpus Christi, Texas and have been settling into a new life on the Texas Coastal Bend. It is a like a dream come true for me that we are together every day and every evening now after years of a long-distance relationship!
Now a few months later.... I am working again at being silly and teaching painting at Painting with a Twist but now in in Corpus Christi, Texas and have finished setting up my own HOME studio! The best studio I could ever imagine to have! I am in love with my new life!
I was excited to have my art (9 pieces) on display at Joe's Crab Shack Lighthouse in Corpus Christi, TX for Contemporary Art Month in March 2017, now they have decided they want to keep it as a permanent installation! Soon after they asked me to teach classes! Happy Dance! The classroom is amazing on the third floor the view is breathtaking! More on that on my next Blog post!!!
Talk to you all soon! I will try to keep up with more posts! But as you know life is an adventure...and time flies!

Like most of you out there, my art changes as I am inspired. As of late I have been having a lot of fun with my "Cut Paper Collages" I sell as prints.. Thus far I have made quite a few. and simply love the energy, color and fun of making something spontaneously! Over the years, I have discovered when I get into laboring or thinking my every step out as I go along I takes away the pureness of creating.
I started out just doing one little Tweety Birdy! (my last blog post), then I created my Fish Collages but now have done Birthday Cakes and yesterday I made "I love You a Bunch, with Carrots!
Hope you enjoy my latest passion, thanks for looking on my TweetyJill Etsy!
